FOURTH SYMPOSIUM ON THE CILICIAN ARCHAEOLOGY
Mersin, TURKEY
3 rd -6 th June 2007
The “Fourth Symposium on Cilician Archaeology” which is organized by KAAM of Mersin University, will be held in Mersin in 3 rd -6 th June 2007.
The sections will be held in 4 th -5 th June 2007 at the “Conference Hall (B) of Prof. Dr. Uğur Oral” at the Campus of Mersin University.
The accomodation will be provided in the TECE Campus of Mersin University. This social center of the university is located 20 km . westward of the city center, at the seaside.
Attendants who will accommodate will check-in on 3 rd June 2007 (Sunday) and will participate at the reception on the same evening. Participant of the symposium will check-out on 6 th June 2007 (Wednesday) as day leave for the Tarsos excursion which will take place from 09:00 am-02:00 pm For further stay, the Organisation Committee will not be responsible.
Coupons for the attendants for lunch and dinner of the attendants will be placed in the symposium bags. The organisation committee is not responsible for lunch and dinner of other guests.
The excursion on the last day of the symposium (6 th J
une 2007) has been organized for the lecturers and attendants. Registration is required two days ahead on 4 th June 2007.
Papers presented will be published as proceedings in the offical journal of the Center (OLBA) after the approval of the selected committee of referees; please hand in your paper till 30 th July 2007 (3 copy).
Attendants arriving by bus or plain can take shuttle ( dolmuş ) buses called ‘Elvanlı' from the main bus station ( otogar ) at Mersin in order to arrive at Tece Campus.
A shuttle service will a provided each morning during the symposium from the TECE to University Campus,
